In a week when Artistic Director Alan Cumming’s debut season will officially begin, Henry Filloux-Bennet joins as successor to Kris Bryce as Chief Executive.
Vastly experienced in theatre leadership, Filloux-Bennet arrives at a defining moment for the theatre, as does fellow appointee, Sam Hardie, who will work alongside Cumming as Deputy Artistic Director.

In a further boost to supporters of the theatre, leaders have announced that its Explorers Garden will free to the public for the rest of the year as an anniversary gift.
Filloux-Bennet’s pedigree spans management and decision-making roles with named English theatres and organisations.
He has served in Executive Director roles at Opera North and HOME in Manchester as well as being Chief Executive of the Lawrence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield.
Sam Hardie is currently Associate Director at the theatre but will step up to work alongside Cumming at a creative high point for the theatre.

Lorna Jack, Chair of Pitlochry Festival Theatre, commented: “The board and I are thrilled to welcome Henry as our new Chief Executive and Sam as Deputy Artistic Director during this milestone 75th anniversary year.
“Henry joins us with remarkable leadership expertise in arts and theatre – given his experience and enthusiasm, we’re confident he will be an excellent addition to the theatre.
“Working alongside Alan, the Board and I eagerly anticipate collaborating with Henry and Sam and are incredibly excited for Pitlochry Festival Theatre’s future under the leadership team’s guidance."
