Perthshire Bungee hub open as part of £250 000 investment

Perthshire adrenaline gurus Highland Fling Bungee have opened a new Adventure Hub as part of a wider £250 000 investment which will include a night-time zipline and high ropes park.

The pioneering adventure sport company, formed 15 years ago, generates an estimated £7m annually for the Perthshire economy, bringing visitors from all over the world to the first fixed bridge bungee platform in the UK.

Now, after reporting rising visitor numbers in 2024 and 2025, of 46% and 52% respectively, the company is planning its next steps with a zipline in darkness and a high ropes park, in 2027.

And First Minister John Swinney, who attended the opening ceremony at Garry Bridge, Killiecrankie, back in 2011, has hailed the company’s impact on local tourism and the economy.

Highland Fling Bungee employs 47 people in high season and has amassed millions of social media followers.

Founder Murray Trail said: “Today our visitors are worth millions a year to the Highland Perthshire economy, and that’s down to 47 people who give them a world class experience every single day in all weathers.

“58 million likes on TikTok and 2.3 million followers across our channels is our visitors, not us, telling the world about an incredible experience in a wee village in Perthshire.”
