Organisers of the Perthshire Classic Car Tour have handed over cheques to charities Race Against Dementia and Prostate Scotland.
Over 80 cars participated on Sunday 26th April, with classics from all eras touring through Highland Perthshire in sunshine ahead of a crowning awards Gala Dinner at Crieff Hydro.
Now the chosen charities of organisers, Rotary Club of Perth, have received donations of £6000 each to carry on their vital work in the community.

Race Against Dementia was set up by former Scots FI driver, Sir Jackie Stewart OBE, who wanted to fund research for a cure for dementia.
The charity applies an F1 motorsport mindset to identifying and funding researchers across the world.
Prostate Scotland raises awareness of prostate disease and supports patients across Scotland.
John Clark of John Clark Motor Group, a trustee of Race Against Dementia, said: “I am passionate about this charity, which relies totally on donations, and uses a different mindset for its organisation and ambitions to achieve a cure for dementia – fast!”

Suzanne Oliphant from Prostate Scotland said: “Thank you to the Rotary Club of Perth and for the generous donation which will contribute to the work of raising awareness of prostate disease and actively supporting men and their families across Scotland.”
Overall, £13 500 was raised from the Classic Car event, which leaves Rotary Club of Perth with a surplus to donate to local charities.
President Anna Martin said: “We have been so delighted with the feedback and the success of this year’s Tour that we are committed to running the same event again on Drive It Day, 2028. We are already getting bookings on the website.”
