Major shortlisting for Perthshire restaurant

Listing comes after recent recognition

Outcome to be decided in November

A Michelin Star Perthshire restaurant with rooms has been shortlisted for a prestigious UK national award.

Killiecrankie House has been listed in the Gourmet Bolthole category of the 2026 Food & Travel Magazine Reader awards after diners rated their award-winning and expansive culinary offerings.

Major shortlisting for Perthshire restaurant

A panel of industry experts will now judge their credentials at a black-tie event at the Mandarin Oriental in London in November. Others short-listed include Haar Restaurant and Rooms (St Andrews), The Dipping Lugger (Ullapool), The Black Swan (Oldstead), Osip (Bruton) and Fowlescombe Farm (Ivybridge).

Co-owners Tom and Matilda Tsappis said: “We’re absolutely delighted, and more than a little overwhelmed, to see Killiecrankie House named alongside such wonderful company. This is very much a team effort; everyone here pours so much care into what they do, and it’s brilliant to see that recognised.

“We’d like to say a huge thank you to our guests for their support and to every member of the team who make Killiecrankie House what it is.”

The shortlisting comes as Matilda Tsappis climbs into the UK Top 20 for her prowess as a Sommelier, as reported here:
