A new specialist bra fitting and lingerie shop has opened on Crieff’s historic High Street, providing a ‘lift’ in women’s health and comfort.
Independent bra fitting service and underwear boutique, Cups, opened its doors on 9th September.
The brainchild of bra fitting consultant and owner, Clare Cadman, Cups will specialise in professionally fitted lingerie alongside sleepwear and swimwear.

According to Portsmouth University research in Breast Health, over 80% of women wear the wrong bra size while a separate study of female football officials found that those who received individual bra prescription reported significantly greater fit alongside reduced breast pain.
Founder Clare’s ‘no judgement’ approach and tape-free bra fittings, are designed to ensure women find the right wear for their bodies.
She also believes independent shops such as Cups are providing a timely antidote to the online shopping trends which have impacted the health of our High Streets.
“Shopping online has its place, and is certainly convenient for some things, but getting a bra that fits just right is better done in person,” she said.
“A lot of women have never had a professional bra fitting or haven’t had one for years. Bodies change, our needs change, and sometimes we simply get used to wearing something that isn’t quite right. My focus is on helping customers find the right bra for their needs.
“There are no tape measures, no judgement and no pressure to conform.”
The new business’ model relies on personalised, face-to-face service, something Clare is an advocate of.
She also feels it is something which Crieff does well.
“There is a really lovely mix of shops and services in town now, and we do have a High Street to be proud of.”
