2026 Heartland Festival

Organisers report demand spike on day one

Heartland Festival tickets for 2026 are already being snapped up after an ‘unbelievable’ sell-out two days in the Perthshire sunshine.

Organisers disclosed that over 1500 early bird tickets had been sold for next year’s event in Pitlochry , less than 24 hours after the music event had ended.

Monday was all about the clear-up after a ‘family-focused’ two days which saw over 2500 children attend; some enjoying their first ever music festival.

Feedback from revellers on the festival’s social media sites was very positive, with organisers admitting they had learned many important lessons from year one, which paid dividends.

Full capacity

Thousands watched 25 artists over the two days, with headliners Skerryvore and Nathan Evans wowing crowds.

“It was unbelievable and full capacity for both days,” said Marketing Director, Simon Clark.

“The weather was great and there was a lovely family vibe. What we really want is to keep the feel of the festival and to grow but not too quickly.

“We are already part way through our allocation of early bird tickets for 2026, which is amazing and shows how much people appreciated the weekend.”

Volunteers praised

Organisers say first communications with prospective bands for 2026 started around a month ago.

The 2026 event will be held on 27-28th June at the Recreation Ground.

Festival Promoter, Graham Howie, said: “There are so many thank you messages for people who have helped make this happen but a special note of thanks to our wonderful and dedicated team of volunteers helping us make this happen for so many people and families in the local area.”

Mr Howie said he was delighted by early ticket sales but warned that ‘there are limited numbers available at the early bird pricing level.”
