A Perthshire Classic Car event is to go bi-annual after the successful tour raised over £14 000 for charity and attracted nearly 80 vehicles.
Organised by Rotary Club of Perth, the full day scenic event through the region to Argyllshire and back, boasted classics of all makes and models including Alpines a century old.
Beneficiaries Prostate Scotland and Race Against Dementia will both now receive sizeable cheques, with the event raising nearly £100 000 overall since its inception.

A slimmed down rally may take place in alternate years but the organisers hope to keep the main show, complete with Gala Dinner at Crieff Hydro, for every second year.
The evening dinner attracted 110 people, with a charity auction at the meal helping to boost the fundraising tally.
Organiser Bill McDonald said: “The fact we get a high percentage of return drivers shows that people really look forward to the event. It is a great day out and we’ll be back to do it again, in 2028.
“Our route is one of the most spectacular on the classic circuit. You see Perthshire and Scotland at its best and the weather made it a perfect day.
“We even went past the set of the remake of Highlander. People were wondering if Russell Crowe was watching us.”
